Ok.
So this was somewhat brought to my attention recently, although I've been subconsciously dwelling on it for a while.
Now, what I'm about to do may offend some people, it may make some people laugh. One thing it will do is make sense in this chaos that is known as the universe.
Another thing that people may think is that "wow Manic-Man's a retard for putting this much work into something that no one really cares about".
This is UNTRUE!
I care for one, and thats really all it takes for me to want to post something.
The topic of this post, a topic which as made me ponder for quite some time is as follows:
Why does the ninja, Naruto, wear orange?
Now, I haven't ever really seen the show, but it's anime, which is enough to make me NEVER want to see it. But I'm pretty sure that having an orange ninja completely defeats the purpose of having a ninja.
Lets look at some outside sources, shall we? (This is when the hatred of Manic-Man begins)
Dictionary.com defines a ninja as: a member of a feudal Japanese society of mercenary agents, highly trained in martial arts and stealth (ninjutsu), who were hired for covert purposes ranging from espionage to sabotage and assassination. ( DEFINITION HERE)
I'm no expert on the ways of feudal Japanese societies, but seriously...an orange ninja?
It seems to me that the major purpose of a ninja is to use their abilities without the enemy knowing. In my mind, one of the most eye-catching colours is orange.
I guess a ninja could still be useful even when they've been spotted but then the whole purpose of training a ninja goes to waste as well. After the ninja has been spotted, couldn't you use a normal warrior?
At any rate, I leave this idea up for debate and I am eagerly awaiting response to this thought (although I feel as though it will attract none, seeing as how im not a well-known NGer)
Spags
I agree completely.
Manic-Man
Thank you.
